Description
1. Creepy plaster wrap mold. I guess that's what my face looks like.
2 & 3. Started sculpting over the plaster mold. Plaster was cut at the mouth and chin to fit the amon mask shape better.
4. Added definition to brows. Mask starts looking less scary and gross.
5. Amon's mask wraps around the face a fair bit, so I had to add more plaster wrap to the sides. I put the mask on a bucket, stuck the wrap on the side, and let it dangle in the air until it hardened, then added more plaster wrap to make it more stable.
6. Sculpted the side patterns
7. Half-assed sanding
8. Half-way painted. I tried weathering it, which looked like crap, so I painted over it again.

Very nice work. It looks like your mask is more detailed than the original wich was just painted.
But to me 7. looks the best. The paint didnt do your work much good and the finished one does not feel all that right too.
An engraving with hint of color could manage that (maybe a swirl, and I know it would be a real hassle to make)
